Here Goes it

Well, here it goes. The day I have been looking forward to for months. I depart for Uganda tomorrow morning (Sept 29th). I will be flying with 1 other girl. When we arrive in Uganda, we will be staying 2 nights and 1 day before we meet up with our contacts with YWAM.
*Pray for safety for us while we are alone and traveling.

Also, we do not have visa's. The country itself allows you to get them upon arrival but some airlines do not care and will not let you on the plane unless you have a visa. We found this out when it was too late to apply for a visa.
*Please pray there are no complications with visas.

Also, honestly, I am a bit tired from doing an extremely intense 9 month course and then jumping into another intense adventure. Because I have been gone from home so long, I am already a bit homesick. I don't know what to expect in Africa and am preparing for complete culture shock. Please pray for me as I am a bit uneasy and unprepared to go.
*Pray God gives me grace and peace to make a smooth transition from one intense season to another.

I know this is going to be an adventure with God and although I have no idea what to expect, God knows and he has me in his hand as I continue to faithfully follow him in obedience.

The New Blog

Nobody knows what the future holds, only that life is a journey and an adventure. For me, my life's journey has been a God story. God knows my future, and he has a plan. He is writing my story and in my God story, it has been a road of miracles that God has worked to get me at this place in life that I am now at. My life is a God story, I know the title of the next chapter but not what adventure it holds. 



God has called me to be a long-term missionary. 
A life characterized by obedience and reliance on him as I walk into the unknown of where he guides me and do the work that he sets before me. 
I have a rough idea of the steps I will take in the next few years, but all I really know is that he has huge plans and has called me to be apart of them. 
I know God is shaping me to use me for big things.
